Our Mission

The Women of Color Entrepreneur Circle provides women of color a forum to collaborate, network and grow entrepreneurial wealth, while cultivating a holistic life balance

Our goal is to establish a culture where our members CONNECT with other women of color for ideas, inspiration and motivation, and COLLABORATE, leveraging business resources through the activation of an integrated business network that helps to CREATE wealth and fosters business development and growth

OUR METHODOLOGY

Growth Group Circles

Our members meet 6 times annually in small diverse groups determined by length of time in business, area of concern,and size as well as location. These circles are focused upon understanding common areas of development within our GGC’s business as well as their personal lives so that our entrepreneurs thrive.

We Track Your Goals | We're Not Just Events

We have lofty goals and aspirations for women who join us. In order to duplicate success we must track progress. We will survey you in order to track tangible benefits from your participation as well as learn how we can best serve you, further refining the program in a collaborative manner. Goals will be tracked bi-monthly and members will be incentivized for achievement.

Featured Entrepreneur

Pamela Rodgers

Rodgers has been a General Motors dealer since 1993.  She first owned and operated Flat Rock Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Flat Rock, MI.  In 1996, she moved her operation to Woodhaven and named the dealership Rodgers Chevrolet.

 

Rodgers earned BA in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She then attended the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and obtained a MBA in Finance.   

 

She serves on several community boards, such as Michigan Black Chamber of Commerce, Southeastern Michigan Community Foundation, Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, the Cranbrook Academy of Arts and Alternative for Girls. 

 

She has also serves on the board of the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers.
